This was an opportunity for us to step out in faith.

Have you ever felt a nudge from God to do something but fear or intimidation kept you from pursuing it? I have, more times than I care to admit. Several months ago I made intentional decisions and changes in my life. One thing I knew for certain is I didn't want to live a life of regret. I prayed if God opens doors for me to share his love with others I would walk through them. I would pull my shoulders back and lift my head keeping my eyes on him. I would be ALL IN with him.

This is a phrase my friend Millie used when we sat down to do a video about this journey on starting a free lunch program for children in our area this summer.  A seed was planted in another one of my friend Jennifer's heart when she volunteered for a lunch program last summer. When she brought it up in conversation it was something we knew we were ALL IN to be apart of. We've walked through that door and as the summer comes to a close it has taken faithfulness, tenacity and endurance! We pray that our video would encourage you to do the same! Walk boldly through that door God is calling you into! It is WORTH it!  Check out Feed the Need on FB https://www.facebook.com/Feed-The-Need-Melissa-1444448128947297/

We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to HIS purpose. Romans 8:28

About Sarah Stolzfus

She loves the feeling of the country but also enjoys the conveniences of the city. She lives in Melissa, Texas a small city North of McKinney with her husband. She is a mom to 5 kids ranging from 19-4 years old. She treasures the simple things like fresh flowers, music, candles, a good cup of coffee and having deep conversations with other women. Listening to what makes their heart beat fills her soul. She is learning to extend herself beyond her safe/comfortable space and say YES to the things God is calling her to do personally. Most recently including a trip to Africa this past January to start self-sustaining projects in a village, being part of the Refresh team and starting a free summer lunch program for children in her community this past May. (Life4Kenya Project http://www.fortknoxhomesecurity.com/life-4-kenya/ ) In her journey of extending herself she has been amazed at what God is able to do through her by stopping and listening to his voice of God.
