Song by Rita Springer & Kalley Heiligenthal

Playlist Spotlight by Teresa Lickliter

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but we are in a battle. I say that a bit sarcastically because you would have to be living in a hut over the waters of Tahiti not to notice. The world is continually getting darker and scarier. Humanity seems to have gone mad. We worry, we fret and plead for peace on Facebook. Silly us. The scriptures say we don’t battle with flesh and blood, but against unseen forces in the spirit realm yet we fight with each other as though we do.

Something I have noticed about fighting against flesh and blood; there is never resolve. We only make matters worse. The only option then is to trust the Lord to fight our battles for us. Are we even aware that He already is? While listening to this song, the thought came to mind: what if our eyes were opened to the times God fought for us and we didn’t even know because He thwarted the enemies attack? Whoa! That is reason enough praise Him!

This song has been on repeat for the last few months since it was released. One of my favorite lines is “No greater rescue than when You came through with strong love, strong love, all my accusers, silenced and scattered by You”. Perfect love casts out all fear and silences the voices that come against us in the battlefield of our minds. In these volatile times we need to make this song our anthem. God is the only one capable of protecting us. If He is for us, who can be against us? He never looses a battle. Never.

While listening to this song, the thought came to mind: what if our eyes were opened to the times God fought for us and we didn’t even know because He thwarted the enemies attack?

Every Battle
by Rita Springer and Kalley Heiligenthal

Every imposter, every contender will fail to compare with You

There is no kingdom, authority, power like Yours

No one more royal, no other loyal than one God, one truth

No other kingdom, no other freedom like Yours

You are high, high and lifted up, strong and mighty enough, You are King

I hide, covered by Your wings, it’s there You fight for me, and every battle

Every battle is Yours

No greater rescue than when You came through with strong love, strong love

All my accusers, silenced and scattered by You

Your people arising, we realize it is finished, it's finished

Stand in the promise it is accomplished in You

No gods or idols, no princes or powered will have my worship

No threat of darkness, no fear of failing will steal my purpose

You’re my surrender, protector, defender and every battle

Every battle is Yours

You're high, high and lifted up, strong and mighty enough, You are King

Oh, I hide, covered by Your wings, it’s there You fight for me, and every battle

Every battle is Yours
