About Us

Activating Christian women to advance the Kingdom of God.

our mission

To help Christian women identify their places of impact and equip them to take action.

“This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a child-like ‘what’s next papa?’ God’s spirit touches our spirit it confirms who we really are.”

Romans 8:16

I have a passion to see women collide with their Kingdom purposes.

Refresh started as a deep desire to see women awaken to what the Lord placed on their lives. Since 2012 we have grown our reach and expanded the mission to see women around the world activated in their God-given purpose.

WHY REFRESH?

By definition, Refresh means to enliven, stimulate, awaken, fortify, freshen, energize, revive. Each Refresh facet or gathering is designed to create an opportunity for connection to the Lord that, in turn, awakens more inside of you to be used to further His kingdom.

WHO IS THE REFRESH WOMAN?

She is passionate about the Lord and desires to know her role in His Kingdom. Refresh was designed to create a place for her to come, link arms with other, like-minded women on the journey to stepping out in the dreams the Lord has placed in her heart.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

Refresh the Nations is a non-denominational ministry for women around the world. Our statement of faith is not exhaustive but simply serves
as a vital foundation built on the Bible as the final word in all things.

THE TRINITY:

There is one God, the Creator of all things, who eternally exists as both One and Triune. These three are Father, Son and Holy Spirit; they are co-equal and co-eternal. (I John 5:7; Genesis 1:26; Matthew 3:16-17, 28:19; Luke 1:35; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 3:7-11)

THE BIBLE:

The Bible is the inspired Word of God, inerrant and authoritative, without error in its original writing, containing the Old and New Testaments, it stands alone as infallible, and its authority is ultimate, final, and eternal. It cannot be added to, taken away from, or superseded in any regard. The Bible is the source of all doctrine, instruction, correction, and reproof. (II Timothy 3:16; Psalms 119:105, 160, 12:6; II Peter 1:20, 21; Proverbs 30:5)

SALVATION:

The Word of God declares that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. It is a free gift of God, based on the death of His Son, not of our own good works; it is an act of free will in response to God’s love for mankind. Personal repentance, belief in Jesus, and acceptance of Him as Savior begins a new life. The fruit of salvation should be a lifestyle of loving obedience and service to Jesus Christ our Savior. (Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 2:16, 3:8; Titus 3:5; Romans 10:9-10; Acts 16:31; Hebrews 9:22)

THE CHURCH:

The Church, expressed through local bodies of believers, is ultimately created to make disciples of all the nations. It is the body of Christ, the hope of the world, designed to reflect the unique gifts and callings of those who participate. (Ephesians 1:22-23, 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23; John 17:11, 20-23)

THE HOLY SPIRIT:

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity. He was active in the Old Testament and given at Pentecost after Jesus the Son ascended, to empower the saints to preach the gospel throughout the world. The baptism in the Holy Spirit, subsequent to salvation, releases the fullness of the Spirit and is evidenced by the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit. (Joel 2:28-29; Matthew 3:11; Mark 16:17; Acts 1:5,2:1-4, 17, 38-39, 8:14-17, 10:38, 44-47, 11:15-17, 19:1-6)
